The film is produced by her own production house Purple Pebble Pictures, Dr Madhu Chopra, Deepshikha Deshmukh (Pooja Films), and Siddharth Chopra.  Sarvann is directed by Karaan Giuliani with Vineet Malhotra as Director of Photography.

The superstar, who is currently busy shooting for season 2 of Quantico in New York, took a day off from her busy schedule to join Sarvann's cast and crew in Toronto for the trailer launch.

After landing in Toronto, the team of Sarvann producers Priyanka Chopra, Dr Madhu Chopra, Siddharth Chopra and Deepshikha Deshmukh, along with actors Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal visited (Dixie) Gurudwara to seek blessings from the Almighty and then proceeded to host a press conference to showcase the trailer.

Ludhiana, November 10, 2016 ( Karan Singh ) :- HDFC Bank Ltd., today launched its Secure Banking programme at Ludhiana in Punjab. The initiative is part of HDFC Bank's ongoing endeavour to create customer awareness about safe banking practices. The programme will be rolled out across all 114 branches in the state to educate customers and create awareness among general public.

At a function organized in the city, the initiative was launched by Jatinder Gupta, Zonal Head Punjab, HDFC Bank, in the presence of other senior HDFC Bank officials.

The 'Secure Banking' initiative comprises a series of workshops, which educate customers through presentations, on matters they need to be careful about, while conducting banking transactions. This includes using netbanking, mobile apps, transacting at ATMs; using debit or credit cards at POS terminals, merchant outlets, and online banking.

These workshops are also open to the general public. Both customers and non-customers are welcome to attend the series of workshops, which will be conducted at various branches across India on a regular basis.

In addition to the branches, various other channels like ATM screens, mobile banking app, and the HDFC Bank website will be used to spread awareness about Secure Banking.

Renault India Crosses 1 Lakh Sales Milestone

Ludhiana, November 03, 2016 ( Karan Singh ) :- Renault India, one of the fastest growing automotive brands in India, crossed the 1 lakh sales mark with cumulative sales of 1,11,387 units for the period Jan-Oct 2016. The company sold 35,736 units in the corresponding period last year, thereby posting a growth of 211.7%. Renault India registered the monthly sales of 12,409 units in October 2016 as against 7,396 units in the corresponding month last year, thereby registering a growth of 67.8%.

Together with a strong product offensive strategy, Renault has exponentially grown its presence in a short span of time in terms of sales and network expansion. From the current network strength of more than 250 outlets, Renault aims to increase its reach to 270 outlets by the end of 2016, making it one of the fastest ramp-ups by an automobile manufacturer in India. Tata AIA Life Announces ‘Revive’ to Give Customers Opportunity to Reinstate Lapsed Insurance Policies

Ludhiana, November 03, 2016 ( Karan Singh ) :- Tata AIA Life Insurance today announced the launch of 'Revive', an initiative to reinstate lapsed insurance policies. As part of the scheme, customers will be given waivers on health certificate and interest for selected lapsed policies (subject to underwriting exclusions and other terms and conditions of the policy). The offer will be valid till November 30, 2016.

Often, for a number of reasons, policy holders cannot pay their premiums even after the grace period. The inevitable happens and the insurance policy gets lapsed. Once lapsed, the policy will not provide any benefit or coverage to the consumers, exposing them and their loved ones to financial risks. This is an undesirable scenario dreaded by most policy holders. Tata AIA understands the inconvenience the lapse can cause customers, since sometimes they may fail to pay the premium due to unavoidable circumstances.

In order to protect their customers, Tata AIA Life, through the Revive initiative, will reinstate lapsed policies with premium due from January 1, 2012 with the subject to terms and conditions of the offer. As a mark of its commitment towards its loyal customers, the company has extended the offer even to those policy holders who have not paid their premium after 4th policy year. 

Commenting on the Revive campaign, Amitabh Verma, Chief Operating Officer, Tata AIA Life said that revival of life insurance policy is like extending a helping hand for policyholders to safeguard their families financially along with the benefit of no additional premium cost. CRISIL Assigns‘A+/SAtable’ Rating for Manappuram Home Finance Pvt. Ltd.

Ludhiana, October 27, 2016 ( Karan Singh ) :- Leading credit rating agency CRISIL has assigned its "A+/stable" credit rating to the long term bank loan facility of Manappuram Home Finance Private Ltd (MHF). The rating reflects managerial and financial support received from the parent Manappuram Finance Ltd. and adequate capitalisation.

According to CRISIL, Manappuram Home Finance is adequately capitalised for the expected scale of business following infusion of capital of Rs.55 crore in fiscal 2016, taking its total paid up capital to Rs.100 crore. Additional infusions are expected to support capital adequacy and keep the gearing at around 5 times over the medium term. These rating strengths are partially offset by a small scale of operations with a limited track record, a modest earnings profile, and exposure to inherent risks relating to the affordable housing finance segment.

The expectation of support from the parent is driven by the strategic importance of the company to the Manappuram group in diversification of its financial product suite. The business is scalable and is expected to grow materially over the medium term. Manappuram Finance Ltd. holds 100% of the equity in Manappuram Home Finance. The parent has infused growth capital and will infuse additional capital as and when required. Furthermore, its Managing Director, V. P. Nandakumar, along with another director, is represented on the board of the company. CRISIL believes Manappuram Home Finance will continue to receive strong financial and managerial support from its parent, while maintaining adequate capitalisation, over the medium term.

More than 100 participants registered their names for auditioning in the Mega Contest. The Contestants danced and sang to the beats of peppy music making the audition venue lively and energetic. IK Gujral Punjab Technical University Signs MoU with Brock University of Canada

Dr. Buta Singh Sidhu, Dean Academic Studies of IKG PTU, who had been in Canada last month, announced this here today at a Symposium of Education Partnership Programme for its affiliated colleges.

Addressing over 20 representatives from its different affiliated colleges, Dr Sidhu said that the tripartite agreement has been signed by IKG PTU with the Brock University and the Canadian Immiigration Centre, one of the leading immigration and education facilitators of Canada, for lateral entry of the students in the bachelors and masters programme there.

Dr. Buta Singh Sidhu informed that the graduates from any of the PTU affiliated colleges would now be able to join advanced graduate or post-graduate programmes in their respective areas of specialization at the Brock University and would receive credit for their studies here, for which the PTU's syllabus has already been mapped.

PTU had signed up an MoU last year with the University of Fraser Valley, and now after Brock University intends to bring on board several more leading institutions of Canada including Kwantlen Polytech University, and University of Northern British Columbia, Dr Sidhu added.

Parvinder Burn, founder and CEO of Canadian Immigration Centre, from Canada, who has facilitated the collaboration, informed that the students have a clear advantage of saving on fee besides getting the opportunity to work in Canada with three-year work permit which can be availed after the completion of their studies. Commenting on the development, Tom Kerr, Director, Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition, The World Bank Group, said that Mahindra & Mahindra's new internal carbon price is an excellent example for companies in India—and around the world—of how smart companies are taking advantage of low-carbon investment opportunities while managing carbon risk."

Mahindra adopted the new carbon price after several months of rigorous planning and effort in keeping with its progressive attitude toward sustainability. The company partnered with the World Bank and IFC led Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition along with the World Resources Institute, India to enhance its understanding of the Carbon Price mechanism.

Mahindra started reporting its emissions from FY-2008 and over the last eight years the company has reduced its carbon emissions by 47% and its energy use by 32%. It has invested in developing India' first and only electric car, the E2O. Other initiatives include a recent investment in 4.2 MW of wind power and the use of Magnetic induction, LED lighting technology and waste heat recovery systems at its plants.

Coca-Cola Partners with Snapdeal to Celebrate the ‘Joy of Giving Week’ Campaign

Ludhiana, October 04, 2016 ( Karan Singh ) :- Coca-Cola India, a leading beverage company, today announced its association with Snapdeal, India's largest online marketplace, to celebrate 'Joy of Giving Week' campaign. As a part of this campaign, customers can go to Snapdeal Sunshine- Snapdeal's online donation platform, to donate stationery kits to underprivileged children. Coca-Cola India will match the donation amount of these kits up to a limit of INR 2, 00,000.

The campaign starts from 1st October and runs till 10th October, 2016 and the stationery kits (that include pencils, an eraser, a sharper and a ruler) will be directly delivered to partnering NGOs like Teach for India, GiveIndia, Bhumi, The Community Initiative, Care India, etc; which are actively working for education of underprivileged kids across the country.
